188 Version Case Differentials Axle Driveshaft Spacer For BMW E36 E46 E9X Non-M

Bevinsee Half Shaft Spacer Kit is a highly recommended upgrade for any lowered E36/E46/E9X.
When lowering the E36/E46/E9X , its driveshaft angle will need re-adjustments due to the modification of the suspension. 
Unwanted space is created in between the driveshaft roller and spider (inside of the driveshaft), causing the inboard joint to unevenly wear out.

3. If the distance between the half-shaft and the flange is too large, you can use 2 half-shaft spacers per side.
4. If your axle is damaged or past it's mechanical limits, noise, binding, or vibration could still be a concern. At this point we suggest axle replacement.

How do I know if I have a 188, 168, or 210 differential?

This kit is for 188 version diffs (86mm drive flange output) only. If unsure, check your diff cover size or reach out with your exact model/engine and we'll help confirm before you order.

Why does the listing say this isn't suited for drifting purposes?

Drifting puts repeated, extreme angle stress on the axle joints that goes beyond what this spacer is designed to correct — it's built for restoring geometry on a lowered street/track setup, not drift abuse.

How do I install this — do I need to remove the axle completely?

You'll need to separate the half-shaft from the differential flange enough to slot the spacer(s) in between, then reinstall with the included extension bolts — no full axle teardown required.
