NOTE:
1.After installing the kit, noise may occur, but this is harmless. The noise is similar to a "whirring", which can be caused by the pulsation of the oil through the lines.
2.Before refitting the oil filter connection piece centre stem, ensure that you have the newest version (VW part number: 06L-115-678-Q). This was an update from VW, so a majority of cars will have it fitted already, 
but please check as failure to change to the new version could result in reduced oil pressure.
3.Be sure to watch our installation video before installing; the installation process will take about an hour.
4.After installing an oil cooler, an additional 500-600ml of engine oil is required.
5.Not suitable for installation on vehicles that have already been modified with a front mount intercooler, as the FMIC already occupies the mounting position
6.Recommended oil filter model: W 610/6. The factory paper oil filter cannot be used

FAQ

Can I still install this oil cooler kit if my car is already fitted with a front-mount intercooler?

No, you can not install it. As the FMIC already occupies the mounting position. But if you want to replace it then you can try to install this oil cooler kit.

How much does this oil cooler kit lower oil temperatures on a MK7 GTI/R?

It will lower oil temperature by 10–15°C. After a year of testing it was proven. If you have the proper equipment, you can retest the cooling effect after the temperature reaches 92 degrees Celsius.

Solid kit

Installed on my 2015 MK7 GTI.The cooler, lines and adapter all went together cleanly and there have been no leaks.Oil temps are much easier to manage during longer hard drives.

Put this on my 2019 Golf R and saw roughly a 10 to 15 degree C improvement once the oil was hot.That was the result I was hoping for!The thermostat still lets the engine come up to temperature normally for everyday driving.

I added the 10 row cooler to my 2018 Golf R because longer spirited drives were pushing oil temps higher than I liked.The thermostatic setup lets the oil warm normally, then the cooler starts doing its job once things get hot.I have seen a very noticeable improvement during hard driving.
