When the 4Runner suspension is raised (0-4 inches), the position of the entire rear axle changes, causing the factory non-adjustable control arm length to become unsuitable. Improper alignment can lead to abnormal tire wear, drifting, and reduced tire life. Angle changes cause abnormal stress on the factory bushings, resulting in abnormal noise and damage.
Additionally, the factory control arms have low strength and use ordinary rubber bushings. Under heavy off-road conditions or frequent impacts, they are prone to bending, deformation, and bushing failure, leading to chassis loosening, noise, and loss of proper alignment, posing safety risks.

After dropping in this 13-inch kit, the beefy control arms made it super easy to get both the front and rear axles perfectly aligned and dial in the differential��s final drive angle. I��ve gotta say, the grease-fillable design is a game-changer��makes maintenance way more convenient.

Great upgrade

Our 4Runner came with a 4-inch lift from the previous owners, but they cut corners on some safety stuff, especially for running 35-inch tires. This kit was perfect for what we needed and the way we��re using the truck. I managed to install all the parts myself, though I did battle a few rusty bolts along the way. Got it professionally aligned afterward, and now it drives like a dream��smooth, solid, and totally confidence-inspiring!

Control arm for 4runner

The sheer size difference between these control arms and the stock ones is straight-up wild, and the install is shockingly easy �� totally doable on a gravel driveway with basic tools. For the money, the value is unbeatable; the way my 4Runner handles now is literally night and day. I��m flat-out raving about these Bevinsee adjustable control arms. Took me about two hours to bolt them on, and I didn��t even touch a power tool.

Way better

After tossing on a budget lift kit, it didn��t take long to realize I needed adjustable control arms to dial the axle geometry back in. I went with Bevinsee because their arms aren��t some bargain-bin, flimsy setup �� these things are genuinely well-built. Most of my driving is on pavement with the occasional off-road adventure, so yeah, these control arms are a bit overkill for my current use. But the upside? If I ever decide to push into hardcore off-roading, I��m already covered. Once I corrected the axle geometry and brought everything back toward spec, the notorious death-wobble-style sway disappeared entirely.
