After receiving the power steering reservoir I installed it right away and I had no problems with installing it. Everything is straight forward and easy to install. I love the new look. Thank you!!!
This is more than a cosmetic engine bay part.The built-in filter and layered baffle design were important to me.I am OK with the price.
After mountain drives, my original reservoir would usually leave a light coating of fluid near the cap.I have not noticed that problem since installing this one.
What sold me was the ability to keep the factory-style dipstick and existing hose layout.The reservoir looks like a premium aftermarket component but remains familiar to service.
Fitment on my 135i was accurate,installation was uncomplicated,and the steering fluid has remained clean and properly contained.
My factory reservoir always had a greasy ring around the cap,even after replacing the seal.This upgraded one has stayed dry through daily commuting and several long drives.It connected to the original hoses without trouble.
I installed this while flushing the power steering fluid on my E92 335i.The factory bracket and hoses transferred over correctly,and I did not need to modify anything.
Not installed yet, but the it looks clean and the anodising is spot on.
Been on for two weeks, not a single drop. Seals are tight, no mess in the bay.
Did a track day last weekend. Opened the bonnet afterwards and for the first time there was no fluid everywhere. The leaking issue is finally gone.
Finally a direct replacement that doesn't look cheap. O-ring is way better than factory, baffle stops aeration on track. Only catch is to check your return hose while you're there. Would recommend.
Stock E92 reservoir always leaked. Tried everything but nothing worked. This bolts straight on with stock parts, actually seals properly. Bit pricey but worth it.
