A noisy clutch can be a big headache on your journey since a vibration and gurgling sound created when you press the clutch pedal often make you feel annoyed. It can be easily diagnosed as a flywheel problem than a worn clutch with so few miles on the clock. The real problem comes from your damaged clutch pivot pin, which had completely broken off. This would result in the clutch fork not being securely anchored when the clutch slave cylinder pushed the other end.

The original part is plastic. If your going to go through the trouble of doing your clutch this is definitely worth upgrading to this Stainless Steel part.
It took about 30 minutes of wailing (with some intermittent breaks) with the sledge to get it all the way in. I would recommend two things:
1) Use lube. Oh yeah lube it so much. 2) Get a wire pipe cleaner or a Dremel and wire clean the inside of the hole. 3) A little heat doesn't hurt. Aluminum expands way more than Stainless, so torch the hole a little.
Everything was fine and it works perfectly.
Size is correct! You can knock the plastic one loose using a socket, extension, and hammer.
No sanding needed for a perfect fit. Still, the parts solid quality and precision-built.
