Drive belt system is important for numerous reasons. The primary purpose of drive belts is to "drive" the accessories that make your vehicle run and function properly. The N54 engine only uses one serpentine belt but that one serpentine belt is responsible for driving the alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor.
For this purpose we offer a complete maintenance kit, which includes drive belts, pulleys and tensioner to ensure a long service life.

Tightening torque:
Drive Belt Tensioner:Tightening torque for the bolt is 40 Nm (30 ft-lbs).
Drive Belt Idler Pulley (90 mm) :Tightening torque for the bolt is 38 Nm (~28 ft lbs).
Drive Belt Idler Pulley (80 mm):Tightening torque for the bolt is 38 Nm (~28 ft lbs).

I purchased the whole tensioner and belt replacement, upon installing the smaller idler juts broke in the middle of a test drive, so disappointed in the quality and how easier it broke.
