Installation:

  • 1.Turn the rear mirror lens to its largest angle, take off the lens by holding one side of it.
  • 2.Using a crow plate to unclench the two buckles.
  • 3.Take off the original mirror cover.
  • 4.Put the new one directly on the installation position and push it until sitting at the buckle.
  • 5.Put the mirror lens back with aiming at the buckle site.
  • 6.Installation accomplished.

They fit just like the originals. No problems.

The mirrors are held in place with a friction fit. It takes some force to pry them off, so be careful. Then you press the two tabs holding the original cover in place and slide it out.

Good Fit, Look Great.

First pair lasted 3 years in the Florida sun. Put these new ones on my Golf GTI before trading it in. Needed very minor flash removal with a pocket knife to get them to lock in right. Look great!
