The main drive belt runs the power steering pump and alternator on the N55 engines.
During normal maintenance, it should be important to check the belt, such as when changing the oil or refilling the cleaning tank. Otherwise, once it fails, you'll be in trouble.
If threads, cracks, partial missing, and edges are visible on the surface of the belt, the belt should be replaced immediately.

Fits just like oem.

80k miles on the original belt, was starting to show edge wear. This replacement fit perfectly, same dimensions as factory. N55 engines are sensitive to belt failure so don't skimp here. Good alternative to OEM. Would recommend.

Essential for N55 maintenance

Checked my belt during oil change and found cracks forming. This is a known weak point on the N55, If it shreds it can get sucked into the front seal. Swapped this one in, good quality replacement. Worth doing before it leaves you stranded.

Squeal gone.
