Solid Monoball Rear Trailing Arm Bushings RTAB For BMW E36 E46 M3 E85 E86 Z4

The trailing arm on the E36/E46/Z4 rear suspension sits close to the chassis in front of the rear wheels.
The stock rubber bushings wear out over time, causing the joints to warp.

Will I need a special press tool to install these, or can I push them in by hand?

Solid monoball bushings like these typically need a press tool (rentable at most parts stores) to seat correctly — unlike some soft push-in poly bushings that skip that step.

Do I need to drop the subframe to install these?

No full subframe drop needed — you unbolt and lower the trailing arm enough to access the bushing, then press the old one out and the new one in from there.
