A huge improvement

Fits my mk8 GTI wonderfully. Brake response and shift feel on my DSG are well improved - less wheel hop at launches as well. Definitely worth it as installation takes around 10 minutes with a floor jack.

Easy but powerful mod

Extremely easy to install. People warn you about added NVH when adding an insert but with this insert any NVH is minimal. I think my mount bushings had to be shot because I get less vibration at idle than before - and I don’t get any of the vibration I’ve seen people complain about when in reverse.

I’m tune and launch control was un-usable before this insert but now I get no wheel hop. Acceleration is much smoother and responsive than without.

Would 100% recommend and the price is hard to beat. Other inserts made of the same aluminum and profile cost 3-4 times as much. Very happy with this one.
