En støjende kobling kan være en stor plage på køreturen, da vibrationer og en gurglende lyd, der opstår, når du trykker på koblingspedalen, ofte kan være irriterende. Med så få kilometer på tælleren kan problemet let fejldiagnosticeres som et svinghjulsproblem i stedet for en slidt kobling. Det egentlige problem skyldes den beskadigede koblingspivotstift, som var knækket helt af. Det medfører, at koblingsgaflen ikke længere er sikkert forankret, når koblingsslavecylinderen skubber på den anden ende.

Nice upgrade

The original part is plastic. If your going to go through the trouble of doing your clutch this is definitely worth upgrading to this Stainless Steel part.

Seems to work!

It took about 30 minutes of wailing (with some intermittent breaks) with the sledge to get it all the way in. I would recommend two things:
1) Use lube. Oh yeah lube it so much. 2) Get a wire pipe cleaner or a Dremel and wire clean the inside of the hole. 3) A little heat doesn't hurt. Aluminum expands way more than Stainless, so torch the hole a little.

Size is correct! You can knock the plastic one loose using a socket, extension, and hammer.

For my E90

I swapped it on my E90 after the plastic cracked, found it during the clutch job. Playing it safe, I upgraded the clutch and went with a metal replacement.

Solid upgrade

This is a solid upgrade over the BMW plastic. Im confident itll hold up long-term. The only snag was its a bit snug on install. Still, the build quality is top-notch and you can definitely feel the heft.
