Looks sharp and performs solid. The magnet's strong too, which is awesome because I know itll actually catch any metal particles floating in the oil.

Works as it should

I ended up installing this plug on my E90 330i and it works like a charm. After one oil change I found small fragments of metal stuck to the magnet on the plug. Appears that it works as it should.

The machining and quality is excellent. Very happy. Magnet is epoxied in its bore - I will update if that fails due to heat and oil.

Magnetic Drain Plug fits BMW E30 M3

For added protection add a magnetic oil fill dipstick. I have them installed on both of my generators. Highly recommended.
