Duurzamer dan de originele kunststof en rubberen onderdelen, die na verloop van tijd verouderen, broos worden en kunnen breken wanneer ze aan de hitte van de lucht worden blootgesteld. Een vacuümlek kan leiden tot problemen zoals onregelmatig stationair draaien, verdampingsfoutcodes en andere storingen.

This is an upgrade replacement.

The original part had worn out, so I decided to replace it. Searched around and found this part. Priced similarly to plastic alternatives, but built to last. Given the engine bay conditions, I bought it. It fits well and looks solid.

Material quality matters most to me when buying parts. This aluminium connector is a solid choice. It is far better than the original rubber one. If you are skipping official parts to save cash, focusing on good materials rarely goes wrong. After all, material sets the baseline for quality.

Great replacement at a decent price

If you're looking for one of these, chances are that your plastic OEM one has failed and you're trying to decide whether to go OEM or upgrade. Upgrade is the answer. The OEM plastic WILL get cooked and fail again, and with an e46 there are already so many other places for vaccum leaks to occur that it's nice to write one off for good. This piece is well made and looks great. The hose barbs really hold on too!
