Sluit deze dop daadwerkelijk goed af, of lekt hij olie zoals sommige goedkope aftermarket-doppen?
De dop bevat een hoogwaardige rubberen O-ringafdichting die is ontworpen om de vulhals stevig af te dichten. De meeste eigenaren melden dat er geen lekkage optreedt zodra de dop volledig is geplaatst en vastgedraaid.
Verbleekt de kleur of slijt de geanodiseerde afwerking na verloop van tijd in de motorruimte?
Het oppervlak van de geanodiseerde 6061-T6-aluminiumlegering biedt een betere weerstand tegen verkleuring en corrosie dan gelakte onderdelen. De meeste autobezitters melden dat de kleur zelfs na maanden blootstelling aan zonlicht nog net zo levendig blijft als nieuw. Let op: gebruik geen reinigingsmiddel om de dop schoon te maken.
Is het mogelijk om aluminium onderdelen te bestellen die nog niet geanodiseerd zijn?
Helaas is dat niet mogelijk. Producten die al zijn geanodiseerd, kunnen niet opnieuw worden geanodiseerd. Als u dergelijke onderdelen nodig hebt, moet u via ons groothandelskanaal een maatwerkbestelling plaatsen. Daarvoor geldt doorgaans een hogere minimale bestelhoeveelheid.

They have two different caps for E 92. The one with the raised handle is the best one the other one that’s all flat allows oil to leak through. I found that out the hard way although both of them say they’re both for an E 92 328I Overall I’m happy it looks bitchin

These parts all fit as advertised. I haven't noticed any fitment issues (leaks, loss of pressure etc.) after driving with them for a month. I trust them enough now to sell or throw away my old plastic ones.

I ordered this for my E82, and it looks even better than the picture.

Ive never been a fan of unnown brand parts on any German cars, but this one worked. My old was was leaking oil vapours and this totally fit perfect and works as advertised.

I put the cap on clean everything up couple days went by and we went by still clean great deal. Make sure you try this before you pay for anything else.
