It fits well on 2009 Jetta MK5

Last week my father drove our family on a trip. The original transmission bushing failed causing the gear shift lever to loosen. You cannot imagine the trouble. We spent nearly 400 euros on towing and replacement. They replaced it quickly but the cost was high. After the trip I researched and found this part is easy to replace. So I bought this product and replaced my worn original transmission bushing. This metal one should last long. I will decide on repurchasing a spare after using it for some time. Albert is right in his review. Sometimes you just need a backup for emergencies.

Fits perfect. Good quality. Shifts smooth. Used it near six months no issues. So I came back for another and keep it in the car toolbox just in case. I always stock up on parts that are good value small and work well. These little parts can be proper lifesavers when your car breaks down suddenly.

A good upgrade for my 2006 A3 8P

I was doing my regular service and saw the original bushings were shot. I was gonna stick with the same one. But I saw this upgraded alloy ones, and installed them on my 2006 A3 8P. Honestly for a small part rubber or aluminum alloy is similar. But you know, if you care about your car, you splurge a bit on better bits when you can. Hope they last longer now.
